An injection molding machine is a type of machinery used to manufacture plastic parts by injecting molten plastic into a metal mold under high pressure. The process involves several steps, including:
Material preparation: Plastic pellets are typically used as the raw material for injection molding. These pellets are loaded into the machine's hopper, which feeds them into the injection molding machine.
Injection: The plastic pellets are heated and melted in the injection molding machine's barrel. Once the plastic has melted, it is injected into the mold under high pressure.
Cooling: After the plastic has been injected into the mold, it must cool and harden before it can be removed. This process is typically achieved by circulating water through the mold.
